Ushabti of Lady Nestanebisheru, Third Intermediate Period

Auction Ended

Ushabti of Lady Nestanebisheru.
The coffin of the Nes-ta-neb-ischeru, daughter of the high priest of Amun Pinodjem II and Neskhons, was found in Cachette II in Deir el-Bahari and is now in Florence (1891 – Daressy A. 20; NIWINSKI, Coffins, no. 191). The singer of Amun Nestanebischeru was thus probably buried in the so-called second Cache of Deir el-Bahari. Other Shabtis of this Lady also bear the title “Lady of the House”.
