A polychrome glazed fragment of a large pectoral.

In the left lower corner, it still shows a part of the head-dress and the wig of the goddess Nephthys. Her name is a Greek rendition of the Egyptian Nb.t-Hw.t meaning “Lady of the House”. In the center of this pectoral, originally a scarab of the sun god Khepri would have been shown on a bark, flanked by Isis and Nephtys. Pectorals were worn as amulets or given to the deceased.
