A very fine Egyptian Naqada II painted pottery jar.
Ovoid vessel restored from two pieces, lug handles, body decorated with four vertical bands filled with horizontally wavy lines.
Date: Predynastic, Naqada II period, ca. 3600- 3200 B.C.
Dimensions: 11.7 x 9,7 cms, including the handles.

Provenance:
1960- 1980 Collection of Randi and Johan Daehnfeldt, Denmark
2015 Helios Gallery, London, UK.

Condition:
Slight restauration at the rim and a light surface wear and patina.In spite of extreme age this piece has minor restaurations.
Estimate: 2400- 2800 euros
